At Trinity, children are important. In Luke 18:16, Jesus said, “let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Our mission is to teach children that God loves them and that they are loved, accepted and they have a place at Trinity.
Sunday mornings: Sunday School and Children’s Worship are offered for children aged birth through 5th grade. On Sunday mornings we teach the children about Jesus using lessons, games, crafts, music, special activities and even healthy snacks. Trinity offers Sunday school for children, youth and adults at 9:15 am every Sunday. Our worship service begins at 10:30 and our Children’s Worship service begins after the Children’s Sermon in the sanctuary.
Yearly Activities: Throughout the year, we offer fun activities such as the Eggstravaganza egg hunt in the spring, Trunk or Treat in the fall, Vacation Bible School and kid’s camp in the summer, Christmas Pageant in winter, Kids’ Nights Out, Sports Camps, and other activities for children and families. Children receive a brand-new Bible from the congregation in the third grade and can participate in the worship service as an acolyte in the fifth grade.
Safety and Security: We offer a digital check-in platform with special features to enhance the safety of all children who attend Sunday mornings and other activities at Trinity. All of our nursery staff are CPR certified, and all staff and volunteers are Safe Sanctuary trained and background checked.
