This Sunday we continue our summer series, Blessed to Be a Blessing, with a message from Genesis 29:15–28 titled "Complication." Jacob arrives hoping for a new beginning, only to find himself in the middle of a family story filled with deception, disappointment, and heartache. Yet beneath all the complications is a God who remains faithful. As we look especially at the often-overlooked story of Leah, we'll discover that God sees those the world overlooks and continues to work through imperfect people and complicated lives. Join us as we are reminded that God's blessing does not depend on perfect circumstances—it depends on a faithful God who is still writing our story.

This Sunday we continue our summer series, Blessed to Be a Blessing, with one of the most memorable stories in Genesis—Jacob’s dream at Bethel. Alone, afraid, and running from the consequences of his own choices, Jacob discovers that God meets him in the most unexpected place. Through this powerful encounter, we are reminded that God’s presence is not limited to sanctuaries or seasons when life is going well. God meets us on the journey, in the uncertainty, and in the ordinary places we least expect. Join us as we explore how an encounter with God can awaken us to the promise that we are never alone and send us back into the world as a blessing to others.

This Sunday we continue our summer sermon series, Blessed to Be a Blessing, with the story of Jacob and Esau in Genesis 25:19–34. Before Jacob can even speak, he is already grasping at his brother’s heel, and that posture becomes a picture of much of his life. Together we will reflect on the ways we grasp for control, security, blessing, or immediate relief, and how God calls us to receive the promise by trust rather than seize it by force. Even in a family marked by rivalry, favoritism, and struggle, God’s blessing keeps moving forward.

This week in our summer series, “Blessed to Be a Blessing,” we continue with the story of Isaac and Rebekah in Genesis 24. As Abraham’s story begins to move into a new generation, we see that growth is not only about becoming larger, it is about learning how God’s blessing continues when the season changes. Through prayer, hospitality, courage, and Rebekah’s willingness to say “I will,” the promise begins to move forward. Join us as we reflect on how memory becomes movement and how God calls the church to grow deeper, wider, and more ready to bless the world.

Worship Service
This week in our summer series, “Blessed to Be a Blessing,” we come to one of the most difficult stories in Genesis: the binding of Isaac. In Genesis 22:1–14, Abraham faces a test that raises hard questions about faith, obedience, trust, and the character of God. Yet at the edge of the story, God stops the knife and provides another way. Join us as we wrestle honestly with this troubling text and hear the good news that God’s promise is not carried forward through harm, but through mercy, provision, and faithfulness.
