This Sunday at Trinity, Rev. Amy Hodge will be preaching on the Road to Emmaus from Luke 24:13–35. It is the story of two disciples walking a hard road of disappointment and grief, only to discover that the risen Christ was nearer than they knew. In that holy encounter, their hearts burned within them, their eyes were opened, and hope was renewed. That same good news still speaks to us. Even when we feel weary, uncertain, or unable to see clearly, Christ continues to come alongside us, speak into our lives, and make himself known. Join us for worship at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary, or worship with us on TV, Facebook, or YouTube, as we gather in the hope and joy of Easter.

On this holy day, we gather to proclaim the good news that Jesus Christ is risen, that death is not the final word, and that the love of God is stronger than the grave. In a world that so often feels burdened by loss, fear, and uncertainty, Easter reminds us that hope is alive and new life is possible. We would love for you to come worship with us as we sing, pray, and rejoice together, for we are Easter people and resurrection is our song.

Join our Pastor for a weekly Bible study focusing on the history and meaning of the biblical text.

Members of the Beaumont American Guild of Organists will be performing short organ programs at noon during Lent. A love offering will be collected each week to benefit the Rainbow Room. A light lunch will be provided each week that may be eaten on site or as take-away.

Put on your walking shoes and join us at Rogers Park for a unique Lenten devotional experience! We will use the book “Christ Walk: A 40-Day Spiritual Fitness Program” by Anna Fitch Courie to guide us on our journey through Lent. This Tuesday we will dive into “Redemption” (part 2). Join us this Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church as we enter into the story of Holy Week together on Palm Sunday. Worship will begin at 10:30 AM with the joyful waving of palm branches and a children’s processional, reminding us of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. As we celebrate, we also turn our hearts toward the journey that lies ahead. During the service, our choir will present the cantata In the Final Week by John Purifoy—a powerful and moving musical retelling of the final days of Jesus’ life. Through word and song, we will walk the path from celebration to sacrifice, preparing ourselves for the depth and hope of Easter. Come and be part of this meaningful morning as we remember, reflect, and step into the story together.
