Join Trinity in preparing through practical acts of faith, generosity, and disaster response.

Disaster Preparedness

Hurricane season reminds us that preparation matters. At Trinity, we want to be ready not only for our own households, but also to care for neighbors and communities impacted by disaster. Disaster preparedness is one way we live out our faith through compassion, generosity, and practical service.

This season, we are inviting our church family to help assemble UMCOR relief kits that can be sent to areas affected by storms and other emergencies. We will be collecting supplies and receiving completed Cleaning Kits, Hygiene Kits, and Menstrual Hygiene Kits.

Kits We Are Collecting

Cleaning Kits

Practical supplies such as detergent, dish soap, reusable wipes, trash bags, gloves, masks, and other items packed in a five-gallon bucket with lid.

Hygiene Kits

Items such as a hand towel, washcloth, comb, nail clipper, bath-size soap, toothbrush, bandages, and a one-gallon resealable bag.

Menstrual Kits

Hand sanitizer, bathroom trash bags, wet wipes, tampons, sanitary napkins, soap, flushable wipes, laundry detergent sheets, and a one-gallon resealable bag.

Trinity is partnering with Texas Congregational Disaster Readiness to help our church prepare for hurricane season and respond more effectively when disaster comes. TXCDR works to help congregations plan, prepare, and organize for disaster response so that recovery can happen more quickly and vulnerable communities are not left behind. As we collect supplies and assemble relief kits, we are joining a larger, coordinated effort to serve our neighbors with compassion and care.
