This Sunday at Trinity, Rev. Amy Hodge will be preaching on the Road to Emmaus from Luke 24:13–35. It is the story of two disciples walking a hard road of disappointment and grief, only to discover that the risen Christ was nearer than they knew. In that holy encounter, their hearts burned within them, their eyes were opened, and hope was renewed. That same good news still speaks to us. Even when we feel weary, uncertain, or unable to see clearly, Christ continues to come alongside us, speak into our lives, and make himself known.
